Erasmus Exchange Program

“ERASMUS seeks to enhance the quality and reinforce the European dimension of higher education by encouraging transnational cooperation between universities, boosting European mobility and improving the transparency and full academic recognition of studies and qualifications throughout the Union. “

BIM Department has been a part of Erasmus program since 2004. Our activities started with our first “Bilateral Agreement” with Satakunta University of Applied Sciences. Then in 2005, HAAGA-HELIA University of Applied Sciences and Pirkanmaa University of Applied Sciences has become our new partners. As a second country alternative, bilateral agreements have been signed with two German Universities, Ludwigshafen University of Applied Sciences and International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef.

Receiving a study grant, paying no university fees abroad, and the studies abroad being recognised at the home university, are the most important advantages of the ERASMUS Program. Studying in a foreign country, learning a new culture, gaining international friends compose a very rewarding experience for the students, both academically and socially.
